I spent the better part of 11 years recording/collecting, arranging, and mixing this thing. It is based on the idea that mental illness in general, specifically schizophrenia, can be (and probably used to be) viewed as a supernatural/divine evolutionary trait. The musical interpretation of this idea evolved over time to express the current state of insanity and dissolution underlying our current cultural edifices and neurological proclivity.
